Leaf Earrings from Plastic Bottle
Materials
1 Pair of Scissors
1 Round Nose Pliers
1 Plastic Water Bottle
1 Pair of Earring Hooks
Instructions
- Use scissors to cut off the top part of a plastic bottle.
- Cut out 4 leaf shapes, each about 1 inch long.
- Fold the plastic leaves in half lengthwise and cut slanted lines to resemble the leaf veins.
- Cut 2 slits to create a small hole on the ends of each leaf.
- Ply open the earring hooks using the round nose pliers.
- Place 2 leaves onto each earring hook then close the loop with your pliers.
Statement Earrings from Paper Clips
Materials
1 Pair of Earring Hooks
1 Pair of Scissors
1 Round Nose Pliers
2 Paper Clips

Instructions
- Unbend the paper clip and join the two ends together to form a triangular shape.
- Wrap a piece of tape around the two ends to secure it then tape across horizontally.
- Cut off two long pieces of thread, wrap one piece of thread vertically around the middle of the triangle over the tape, when you’ve covered the middle area, tie the thread at the back and cut off the ends.
- Fold the other thread in half and knot it around the top corner of the triangle, wind the thread horizontally around the triangle from top to bottom until the entire paper clip is covered, tie the thread at the back and cut off the extra ends.
- Take an earring hook and use the round nose pliers to open the loop on the end, slip the corner of the triangle through the loop and close it with your pliers.
- Repeat steps 1-5 to make a pair of earrings.
Statement Earrings from Flat Washers
Materials
1 Scissor
1 Round Nose Pliers
1 Pair of Earring Hooks
2 Paper Clips
2 Pieces of Steel Flat Washer

Instructions
- Cut off a long piece of thread, pass it through the hole of the flat washer and start winding the thread around it.
- Keep winding until the thread has covered the entire flat washer, then knot the thread two times and cut it off.
- Unbend a paper clip and cut off ⅓ of it. Hook the paper clip onto the flat washer and use the round nose pliers to twine its two ends together, finish it off with a small loop.
- Cut off a piece of thread and wrap it around the paperclip, make a knot and cut it off.
- Take an earring hook and use the round nose pliers to open the loop on the end, slip the loop of the paperclip through the earring hook loop and close it with your pliers.
- Repeat steps 1-5 to make a pair of earrings.
Chic Crystal Earrings
Materials
1 Round Nose Pliers
1 Pair of Earring Hooks
2 Pieces of Quartz Crystal
Memory Wires (preferably copper)
Instructions
- Use the round nose pliers to cut off 12 inches of memory wire, insert one end of the wire through the hole of the crystal and wind the wire 5 times around the stone. (If your crystal don’t have a hole, simply wind the wire around it)
- Use your fingers to twist the extra ends of the wires together and wrap it around itself, use the pliers to help form a small loop on top.
- Take an earring hook and use the round nose pliers to open the loop on the end, slip the loop of the crystal through the earring hook loop and close it with your pliers.
- Repeat steps 1-3 to make a pair of earrings.
